Smith Optical Lowdown Focus

Smith optical has partnered with Waterloo-based InteraXon to build a pair of EEG-sensing sunglasses, the Lowdown Focus, available for 349 USD.

The glasses appear to have two electrodes along the earhooks, using the same rubber design as the InteraXon Muse.

The nose bridge may act as the ground and/or reference.

Ariel Garten, founer and CEO of InteraXon, told us the device "gets great EEG."

The device features a bluetooth API. No details on API documentation yet.

Update 10/10/17 - Smith optics has a Pro program for sponsorships and deals. Smith are targeting outdoor industries, according to a representative there.
