Silicon Valley-based NeuroPace uses EEG to identify the onset of an epileptic seizure, and has some sort of actuator to counteract or disrupt the seizure onset.

Perhaps their name is a reference to the pacemaker.

The exact nature of the actuator is unclear from their marketing material.

The device appears to be available, and covered by insurance for epileptic seizures that are not treatable by drugs.
